Welcome to the website for Bethel Baptist Church in Independence.   It is my joy to serve as the Senior Pastor and to help lead our congregation in having a passion for the Glory of God, having a passion for being servants and followers of Jesus Christ and having a passion for telling others about the message and hope of the gospel. 

Perhaps you are visiting this site today because you are searching for answers to some of life's problems.  Perhaps you are feeling a conviction of sin in your heart and you are not sure what to do about that.  Maybe you have already looked to Jesus Christ as your substitute and Savior and don't know what to do now... or maybe you are just looking for a new church home where you can grow in wisdom and understanding of God's word.  We would invite you to come and visit with us this Sunday morning, at 10:45. The Christian life is definitely not a solo journey through life and we would love to have you journey with us.  At Bethel, I believe you will find a place where God's word is boldly preached, where Jesus Christ is proclaimed and worshipped as the only Savior and Lord and where we seek to love and care for each other as part of the body of Christ.  Bethel is a conservative Baptist church affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.
